why should you, google, bring back google reader?
1. you are a top level domain, have some integrity and continue supporting things, don't be like yahoo closing down huge swaths of web services, do you not have enough $m$o$n$e$y$ to run google reader? hi$$$$$$$$$ bring google reader back #$! or im not baking you any pies
...this is that real crowd noise, this is what we think about your level of services and the way that you portray yourselves in the "blogosphere", no. i am not in communication with every single programmer or creative person everywhere, but i might as well be, because we're all dealing with the same potentials and the playing field is essentially level and democratic and understandable with sustained effort for any and all computer users, so why don't you guys do something useful for a change like making usb plugs that don't detach on stage, or work on making web 2.0 become web 2.1 or like web 2.0.1 or something? how bout some file formats and desktop software?
i am personally insulted by the amount of money that you spend on companies that i have never heard of......... these corporate acquisitions are unconscionable use of stockholder equity and your valuations are already ridiculous............ please keep exercising stock options and using that money to buy cars and houses and whatever else you can think of to occupy your ego and believe you are living the life and supporting your family without really contributing that money back to the hopeful intellectuals who would like some recognition and compensation for their contributions to our future, which you are squandering away on cars and private jets and nice things, and insulting everybody else by buying dumb startups like nest.......... if you were real intellectually enlightened capitalists such as you wish you were, you would know that you could create better products with the assistance of people, and that you shouldn't expect the continuous awe and adoration of the regular users to continue since they are going to continue to proceed along the same paths that we all have proceeded along with a reasonable level of success.
some people actually know what they are doing and care about designing things and actually bringing them to a state where it is possible to bring them to market, if you knew what lengths people go to create things that don't cost anything, and compared that to what effort it doesn't take for you to make advertising revenue with your monopoly of the search engine sphere, and then thought a little bit about how you could collaborate with actual innovators by communicating with them and offering them deals such as you would the apparently b.s. companies that your cronyism and backroom dealings lead you to buy, then you would be a normal human being.
maybe you could consider the anti trust laws and think about spinning off companies which aren't even directly owned by google, although you can continue to oversee them and mess things up overall if you so choose
2. i don't care what your excuse is, that the functionality is hidden somewhere within your office documents suite, it is an excuse, and nobody wants to hear your excuses or misdirections
3. did you fix the journaling thing yet or not? in android os? i read about that but i haven't heard any specific announcements about whether the performance improving changes discovered by non google people were adopted for the benefit of phone users everywhere
4. do you guys not understand how to code desktop applications? what is wrong with you? your phone operating system basically runs javascript? i don't get it. you guys wanna keep pretending you can be uber high level without paying any attention to low level global optimization, while trying to convince us that owning huge server farms is high level and that your employees are selected from a pool of friggin geniuses and have the best lives getting massages and free coffee? aren't you just as lame as cisco and microsoft and apple? good job guys. i'm glad your web programming and your backend is so great that you can talk vaguely about it and impress people and have other people say vague things as well which retain positivity!!
you guys just expect third party developers to release all the libraries that people need, huh? you can't have the languages be easier to write, you can't manage to create a metaprogramming IDE, huh? you can't manage to create a visually click through tutorial interface for desktop windows, huh? you can't make a mnemonic coding language compiler that interfaces to your existing language, huh? you just don't have those abilities, eh? well that's too bad. i thought you guys were good, but i guess you're not, you're just a lot of people that have a monopoly on search engine traffic, who get free coffee. i want free coffee too, but not if it means i have to keep living in a world where you guys don't do anything new and discontinue google reader

9. manage the situation, respond to what you have read like a real programmer would, unless you are just a lamer, google. the cards are on your table but the next hand hasn't been dealt yet, is the dog on your left going to win the round, or do you have too good of a poker face?
10. by the way youtube performance blows and no, it is not okay. you wouldn't know cause you live right next to the server in the cubicle over eating bars of golden oats and bathing in kitten farts and unicorn kisses but yes, youtube performance is bad, and no, i'm not an expert like you, so you should be the one to fix it, not me.
